Playing Poker on Your Mobile Phone

Playing Poker on your mobile phone has become the new trend. Personally I think the screen is too small and I would rather wait to get home to play poker on a desktop or laptop. My wife disagrees with me and I do not mind because she does very well playing poker on her mobile phone.

I have a windows phone, there are not too play applications out there for that mobile phone. I am sure that you can download mobile phone casino platform to your windows phone and play poker for real money but it really is not my thing.

My wife has a I phone which she loves a great deal. I am not sure which she likes better, playing poker on her Iphone or playing poker on her IPAD. The Ipad and other tablets are cool to use but I really prefer a keyboard to go with it. And if I am playing in a Texas Holdem Poker Tournament I like to be in the privacy of my own home and play poker on my desktop.

Many people ask me when I am going to catch up with the times, since I am an avid poker player. However I do not think I will be playing any casino games on my mobile phone. Do not get me wrong; I think it is a great idea however it just is not for me.

My wife and I heard about the trial that is taking place regarding poker as a game of skill or not. We find this very interesting and had a great conversation with some friends last night. Our friends we had over are not poker players; they go to the casino every once in a while however does not frequently gamble.

Their position is that poker is not a game of luck, it is a pure gamble. My wife and I are happy to debate this issue and play poker online right in front of them to show them that it is skill not luck. That is exactly what we did.

After having a few drinks and listening to good music, my wife and I said why don’t we show you that poker is skill rather than tell you. Our friends were a bit surprised, and said sure lets see. We went onto our favorite American online Pokersite and began to play.

Within the hour we had made some good money, what did we do next? We offered our friends to play with our poker winning or profits. We said if it is luck than you should be able to double your money just like we did. They took us up on our challenge, it did not work out in their favor.

Our friends ended up offering to pay us back our poker winnings but we said that we are fine with that. We just wanted to show them that poker is truly a game of skill not luck.
