In the recent news, an affiliate allegedly has been allowing online gambler from The United States of America access the IPoker Network.

Many of the best online pokersites for American players have been talking about an investigation into the IPoker Network and how players from the US are getting access. It has been said that affiliates allowed players to access the site through Virtual Proxy Networks without worrying about revealing their identity.

This has raised many concerns for Playtech; many online poker forums have been talking about this hurting Playtech’s chances to enter the poker market in the United States of America. Will this issue affect their chances? It could, depending on many variables.

Playtech has been away from the United States of American Poker market for a few years now but now it seems with the new developments they want to get back in. It seems that Playtech is being very pro-active about making sure no USA players enter poker rooms using their software.
