PokerStars Purchasing The Atlantic Club?

Earlier in the week we had heard news about PokerStars deal with Atlantic City Expiring. There was also talk about the only Internet casino that would be allowed in the state of New Jersey are the current land based casinos.

The talk in the online pokersites is that PokerStars is looking to purchase a land casino in Atlantic City now. Supposedly the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel is for sale and Poker Stars has put in a bid. For those you don’t know the Atlantic Club is a very nice Casino on the Boardwalk. The challenge is that the boardwalk was devastated by Super storm Sandy.

If PokerStars purchases this casino it may allow them to get into the online gaming business. There have been talks about another company purchasing the Atlantic Club. The people in the forums have been talking about The Rational Group purchasing the property.
