New Jersey State Gambling To Expand Past Atlantic City?

With low revenues plus a city that was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy, The casinos in Atlantic City are looking to accept sports bets and put more casinos in The Garden State.

Online casinos began to operate in October 2013 and had very high expectations but did not have the mobile technology. Currently many casinos online in Atlantic City are creating mobile applications or improving them, but that does not help with their underestimation of gambling revenue.

The state of New Jersey is looking to expand their online casino activities and operate out of the meadowland sports complex. Based on an article in The Associated Press, New Jersey is not seeking sports bettors; they are looking to put more casinos in the State of New Jersey.

The State of New Jersey Revenue Gets Cut In Half

Currently Atlantic City has eleven casinos. In 2006 they had approximate gross revenue of five billion dollars, last year the casinos took in three billion dollars.
