Pennsylvania – The Leading American State In East Coast Land Based Casinos?

A plethora of online pokersites has been talking about the states that are beginning to follow along with Nevada, Delaware, and New Jersey. The issue is sportsbetting; Virginia, Georgia, West Virginia and Kansas have put on record that they agree with New Jersey’s decision on sportsbetting.

Pennsylvania has been in the news recently, regarding a study that has been done. The American Gaming Association did a study that alleged that Pennsylvania is one of USA most profitable states as far as gambling is concerned. American Poker Directory read that they are in the top twenty most popular states for gambling.

Currently Las Vegas is the number one place to gamble and brings in over six billion dollars in revenue, Pennsylvania is the number two land based casino. Pennsylvania casinos bring in over three billion dollars a year in gambling revenue. The online pokersites have been talking about two new casino projects in Philadelphia that are underway. If they are successful it may put them closer to the revenue brought in by Las Vegas.
